Island petrol prices may come down - but not yet says OFT

by isleofman.com 6th November 2014
Motorists on the Island may see a reduction in petrol prices - but not for a few weeks.
That's the belief of the Chief Officer at the Office of Fair Trading . . Mike Ball.
Petrol prices have been back in the headlines again as the UK government warned petrol firms they will be "watching very carefully" to make sure they pass on savings to motorists from falling oil prices.
Some supermarkets have already said they're taking a penny off a litre of diesel and unleaded.
But Mr Ball says there will always be a delay before prices at Manx pumps could come down as firms on the Island have to buy ahead and keep stocks of fuel on the Island
