Douglas Council sets off its public fireworks display tonight at 7.30pm on the promenade.
The event gets under way at 7pm with the contest for the best Guy and cash prizes for the winner. The bonfire is due to be lit at 7.15pm ahead of the fireworks spectacular on a barge near the war memorial.

There will be no parking from 3pm to 9pm on Harris prom east side where traffic will be restricted to a single lane between Broadway and the marine gardens. The former cycle way will be closed down to Castlemona Avenue from 4pm to 9pm.
