Towed caravans set to be part of the Island's tourism strategy

A Select Committee investigating the used of towed caravans on the Island will later this month outline evidence in favour of creating a market for them.
Some of the recommendations include introducing a permit scheme and a central licensing authority.
All proposals will need to be approved by Tynwald.
Committee chairman Alec Downie says towed caravans could provide a boost to the tourism industry:
