Government focus on long-term good

by isleofman.com 10th November 2014

Tynwald will next week be asked to approve a ‘mid-term report’ which outlines the big challenges facing the Isle of Man in the next decade and what’s been achieved by the administration so far.
That includes reducing the government salary budget by ?53 million, delivering nearly ?15 million in efficiency savings, protecting frontline services and building 327 new homes for first time buyers and those on lower incomes.
Allan Bell admits though the bigger picture doesn’t always attract the headlines.Clip 1
