Appleby raising funds for Hospice IOM

by isleofman.com 10th November 2014
Hospice Isle of Man are delighted that leading local legal and fiduciary services provider advocates Appleby is supporting them during November by taking part in Movember.  Pictured are Mary Doyle and Terri Cook from the fundraising team with Lorcan O’Mahony, Mark Davison, Joe Mawson and Matt Wilshaw.  The guys are going the extra mile to raise funds for the local charity by getting hairy for them. They are pictured at the beginning of the month and hope all their efforts for Movember will reap benefits by the end of the month!

Mary thanked the team at Appleby for their support. She added: “During 2013, approximately 52 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer, 6 with testicular cancer so any awareness raised during Movember is a good thing.  Hospice will have contact with some of these patients and will use any funds to ensure that care is provided for them.”
