Employers from the public, private and charity sectors are taking part in the annual Employment and Skills event at the Villa Marina.
It's an opportunity for students and jobseekers to find out about the work opportunities on offer in the Isle of Man and takes place this Thursday from 9am to 6pm with free admission.
A thousand secondary school children are expected to attend.
Tony Wild MLC said: 'The Isle of Man has enjoyed continuous economic growth for 30 years and our economy is expected to grow further, driven by the creation of hundreds of new jobs. The Government’s Vision2020 strategy has identified that in order to achieve this, the Isle of Man requires a workforce with a broad range of skills.
'This event provides an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for employment, contemplating changing jobs or considering what
qualifications they need to enter a profession to talk to employers in an unhurried environment and get the best advice.'
