Commercial confidentiality presumption on government contracts ended

There is no longer a presumption of confidentiality on government contracts.
That from Treasury Minister Eddie Teare, who confirmed the change during House of Keys questions.
He was asked about it by South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft, who has in the past called for an end to such confidentiality.
Mr Teare said since she last asked about it in May the process by which contracts are prepared has been reviewed and changed.
