Support the Lions Club Manx Children in Need Appeal

by isleofman.com 12th November 2014

Did you know that since 1985 the Isle of Man Lions Club has been raising money for their own Manx Children in Need Appeal? All the money stays here on the Island and is used directly for the benefit of local children and young people.

Many organisations, firms, offices, schools and individuals put a lot of effort into thinking of ingenious ways to raise money for children’s charities and by directing those fantastic ideas into helping the Isle of Man Lions Club Manx Children in Need Appeal it can be guaranteed that genuine cases of need here on the Island will benefit. We have the contacts to ensure that the money is used wisely and to the best advantage of the children or young people involved. No administration expenses are taken out of the funds raised - all Club services are provided free of charge - which means that 100% of the funds go to providing valuable and much-needed assistance.

If you intend raising money for children's causes this year, please consider directing your efforts to helping your local Lions Club Manx Children in Need Appeal so that they can continue to make the lives of local disadvantaged children more tolerable.

Please contact Mike Berry, Chairman, Isle of Man Lions Club Manx Children in Need Committee on 661838 or e-mail: mikeberry@manx.net and put MCIN in the subject line, or have a word with any Lions Club member.
