The Liberal Vannin Party will hear a presentation this evening on the concept of turning the Manx government into a single legal entity.
It will be given at the monthly meeting of the Douglas Central branch of the party.
Sir John Elvidge, was commissioned by the Council of Ministers to produce a report looking into the possibility of making the legal change.
Party Leader Kate Beecroft says she's "very concerned" about the move, but is keeping an open mind.
Mrs Beecroft says she's yet to be convinced that the move would address the issue of ending the so-called "silo mentality": (play audio)
