by isleofman.com 13th November 2014
Employment and Skills 2014 gets underway at the Villa this morning.

The event brings together employers from a variety of sectors in the Island - and provides an opportunity for potential employees to find out what skills they need to enter a particular profession.

The event is primarily aimed at students, those looking to change jobs and people looking to enter employment for the first time.

There will be nearly sixty stands this year including representatives from the armed services, retailing, ICT, finance and many of the diverse functions of the IOM government.

Head of Employment and Skills at the Department of Economic Development Jane Jelski says it's unique opportunity for those in the market for jobs:Clip 1
