Union leader questions single legal entity plan

A bid to turn the Manx government into a single legal entity raises serious concerns.

That’s according to a senior figure in the Trades Union Council.

Tynwald will next week be asked to endorse a report on the matter, commissioned by the Council of Ministers and written by former UK permanent secretary Sir John Elvidge.

However, TUC president Eric Holmes says if approved, government could dodge the responsibility of talking to certain bodies.Clip 1
