A main road through the centre of the Island’s finance district is due to close for 10 days this evening (Friday).
Athol Street in Douglas will be closed from 6pm between its junctions with Prospect Hill and Peel Road for resurfacing work.
Sections will reopen as work progresses but the entire route will not be open until November the 24th.
The work’s part of a multi-million pound scheme to regenerate the capital.
