Barclays staff help Children in Need

by isleofman.com 15th November 2014
Staff at Barclays' callcentre in Eagle Court in Douglas worked through the evening helping to raise money for the BBC’s Children in Need appeal.

More than 200 volunteers gave up their night to staff the centre – the first time in 20 years the Isle of Man has helped take pledge calls.

Fancy dress, fun activities and food and drink were the order of the day as calls lit up the switchboards during the TV marathon.

Simon Scott, head of Barclays on the Island, says as well as manning the phone lines, staff were also eager to raise money themselves:Clip 1
