Chrysanthemum show is pick of the bunch

by isleofman.com 15th November 2014
There's colour, beauty and floral finesse to behold in the south of the Island this weekend.
The Southern Chrysanthemum Society is hosting its 57th annual show at Morton Hall in Castletown - and everyone's invited.
A tonic as the dark winter months set in.
Along with the blooms, there's a chance to display your baking, home grown produce, art work and photography.
The show is open to the public from 2.30pm until 5pm today (Saturday) and tomorrow.
Society president Noel Cringle says growers make huge efforts all year-round to produce extraordinary blooms:Clip 1
