Meeting exposes appetite for political debate

Organisers of an open meeting to discuss means-testing say there's a strong appetite among the Manx public for political debate.
The Isle of Man 2020 group, led by MHK Chris Thomas, attracted almost 50 people to a debate in Onchan parish hall on Friday night.
A question and answer session with a panel which included local commissioner Rob Callister and Onchan MHK Peter Karran, saw the audience offer views on a wide range of issues.
