The Manx Dylexia Association (MDA) is holding a special Forum tomorrow evening, November 18th, at 7.30pm at Douglas Golf Club.
The aim of the Forum is to have a useful and informative discussion on a range of issues and ideas around dyslexia. The Forum will include a number of local people who have dyslexia, and who have gone on to make successful and positive careers and lives.
It promises to be an opportunity not only to listen to real-life stories but also a chance to raise any questions people may have. Alongside the members of the Forum, the MDA committee will also be there, and together they have a wealth of experience and knowledge about dyslexia and how it can be treated in a positive way - and not as a limiting and negative condition, as it is so often assumed to be.
The Forum follows straight after the Annual General Meeting, which starts at 7pm.
