Ramsey Commissioners are likely to discuss the closure and relocation of the town's post office this evening (Wednesday) at their monthly meeting.
The local authority has been told by Isle of Man Post chief executuive, Mike Kelly, that he is willing to attend a public meeting in the future but a date and venue has still to be fixed.
A request has been passed to post chairman, MHK Graham Cregeen, to also attend.
