Post Office jobs will be saved

A deal to relocate the Island's two main post offices has already been signed.
Isle of Man Post chairman Graham Cregeen confirmed the position in Tynwald this afternoon (Wed)
Mannin Retail will operate sub post offices in two of its Spar shops once the post offices in Regent Street in Douglas and Parliament Street in Ramsey close early next year.
Responding to an emergency question from South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft, Mr Cregeen reiterated the firm would offer positions to all staff affected.
He added Mannin Retail had been selected after a closed tender process.
