Appeal after vehicle fails to stop

Police are currently investigating a report of a Hit and Run Road Traffic Collision which occurred at approximately 5.10 pm on Friday the 21st November 2014 in the area of Somerset Road, Douglas. This collision resulted in damage being caused to a blue coloured Volkswagen Polo motor vehicle which was travelling in the direction of Ballaquayle Road, Douglas at the time. The vehicle responsible has been described as a silver coloured Peugeot motor vehicle, possibly an old style model. 
 
There are believed to have been several other driver’s in the area at the time of the incident.
 
If you have witnessed the incident or have any other information which may assist in identifying the driver of the offending vehicle please contact PC 304 Gardner at Lord Street Police Station or alternatively the Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
