Public meeting in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 25th November 2014

Post Office chairman Graham Cregeen MHK will be at a public meeting in Ramsey tomorrow night to discuss the closure of the town's branch.

Last week's announcement that both the remaining Post Offices in Regent Street, Douglas, and Parliament Street, Ramsey would close, with services moving to nearby Spar shops, caused an outcry.

The meeting, organised by the local authority, starts at 7pm in Ramsey Grammar School and will also be attended by the chief executive of Isle of Man Post, Mike Kelly.
