Home schooled children raise funds for Rebecca House

by isleofman.com 25th November 2014
Pictured are Amy Bloch (aged 9), Arianna Nakos (aged 6) and Nathania Nakos (aged 8) with Lorna McCubbin, a Rebecca House nurse and Frances Moore from the fundraising team.

The children were delighted to be presenting a cheque for ?70 to the local children’s hospice. The money was raised through the children organising a coffee morning in Glen Vine.  They sent out their own specially designed invitations and were delighted that Grace Lee, aged 9 also sang at the event. Grace is the little girl who sang in Liverpool for Alder Hey Hospital. The funds will be used to purchase a Gift of Care card for Rebecca House Sibling Group. The children in the photograph are all home schooled and organising this coffee morning was seen as part of their activities.
