Five year old uninjured after traffic accident

A five year old girl was involved in a traffic accident in the south of the Island yesterday afternoon (Tues).
It happened on the Douglas road by Janet's Corner in Castletown
Fortunately, whilst shaken, she wasn't injured in the incident, though was kept in hospital for checks overnight.
Police temporarily blocked off the road and diverted traffic while the incident was dealt with.
