Inventor's descendants return to US 'Manx ambassadors'

Two great great grandsons of a revered Manx Victorian engineer have become Manx ambassadors in America after a visit here.
Clifford and Dete Kennish travelled to the Island earlier this month for the opening of the new ?4.9 million engineering centre at Isle of Man College.
The facility, expected to transform vocational training opportunities fro Manx youngsters, is named after their great great grandfather William Kennish.
The pair were warmly welcomed throughout the Island and friends say they didn't want to go home!
Island mechanical engineer Bob Stimpson has written extensively about Kennish's life.
He says the men were truly honoured
