A verdict of accidental death has been recorded into the death of a 91 year old man.

Coroner of inquests John Needham reopened the hearing into the death of Edmund Morrison of Port Erin this afternoon.

Mr Morrison died of pneumonia in Noble’s Hospital after being rescued from a fire at his home on Station Road in February.

The court heard the fire had most likely started because of an electrical fault.
