All 24 MHKs say they pay into their pension

by isleofman.com 2nd December 2014
Mystery still surrounds the identity of the MHK who hasn’t been paying into their pension pot.

Last week, it emerged only 23 people were making voluntary payments into the Tynwald members’ scheme – sparking a storm of criticism.

Manx Radio has contacted each member individually, and all 24 say they’ve contributed to their pension and have done so for some time.

Tynwald is due to debate public sector pensions when it sits next week.
