This lively little character is a grey wagtail which gives everyone who arrives in a car at Niarbyl Beach a unique and very warm welcome!

For the last several weeks this wonderful little bird has been entertaining car passengers by sitting on his / her favourite object - wing mirrors!

A few weeks ago, the bird was a little shy, but this week the bird landed on the Beach Buddies' wing mirror even before we had stopped moving.

The bird spends its time jumping on and off the mirrors and appears to be trying to make a connection with the bird it sees in the reflection. It also seems to be catching any spiders and bugs which might be hiding in the tiny gap surrounding the mirror.

Certainly, this wagtail is a keen fan of t.he Beach Buddies' truck, so we thought we might ask for suggestions for a name. The winner will receive vouchers for McDonalds
