New online shop for Manx wildlife Trust

by isleofman.com 3rd December 2014

The Manx Wildlife Trust has recently launched its own online shop, stocking a unique range of Manx wildlife-themed gifts, ideal for Trust supporters - whether they live on the Island, in the UK, or further afield - looking for that perfect Christmas present!

The site has a great selection of gifts including some exclusive items -  from the Trust’s 2015 calendar, Calf of Man-themed cards, a tea towel depicting Manx wildlife to the Trust’s own Little Tern badge, and there’s a range of Manx-themed books too.  Prices range from ?1.50 to ?14.99, inclusive of postage and packing to addresses in the Isle of Man and UK.

The 2015 Trust calendar, sponsored by PokerStars through their corporate giving programme, Helping Hands, features twelve stunning, full-colour images of Manx wildlife and habitats, all by local photographers who've donated their images to support the work of the Trust.  It costs just ?5.50 including post & packing: http://www.manxwt.org.uk/shop/product/2015-manx-wildlife-trust-calendar

Duncan Bridges, the Trust’s Director, said: “We’re delighted to launch our online shop in the run up to Christmas.  We know there are plenty of people living both on the Island and overseas who love the Island and its wildlife. By offering a range of Manx-themed items online, we hope to share a bit of Manx-ness with them, wherever they live. Not only will their purchases remind them of the richness of our Island environment, they’ll be contributing vital funds to our work too!”

The Trust’s Wildlife Shops – both the online version and the bricks-and-mortar version in Market Place in Peel - are run by volunteers and all profits from sales go to support the Trust’s work to protect and promote the Island’s wildlife and habitats.

Visit the online shop at: http://www.manxwt.org.uk/shop or the Peel shop at 7-8 Market Place, Peel.
