MHK to recommend parking charge is not introduced

The MHK who's been looking at the Department of Infrastructure's plan to charge Douglas residents for their parking permits says he's going to recommend the fee is not introduced.
Chris Thomas was speaking live on Mandate today, following last night's public meeting on the matter, the final one of three.
Plans to introduce the ?25 fee have proven to be unpopular with many residents.
