MHK calls for contributions to parking policy

Douglas councillors and people who live in the town are being urged to get involved in shaping future parking policy there.

West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas has been looking into the Department of Infrastructure's plan to charge ?25 per year for parking permits.

Mr Thomas says has research has led him to conclude the charge should not be brought in, a recommendation he will make to the DoI.

He's calling for those concerned to come together and work on an alternative:Clip 1
