Finley's Tracks gets charitable status

by isleofman.com 5th December 2014

A charity created in the name of a five year old boy who has an incurable degenerative condition has now been fully registered.

Finley Hesketh from Onchan has Duchenne muscular dystrophy. His parents Kirstie and Clive were given the devastating diagnosis earlier this year and wanted to establish a charity to raise awareness of the condition as well as raise funds to buy essential equipment.

Finley is mobile now but will soon need a wheelchair.

Clive said: 'I am so pleased to be able to tell you that we are now a fully registered Manx Charity. Thank you so so much to everyone who has worked so hard to make sure that this happened and also happened so quickly. We cannot thank you enough.'

The charity's registration number is 1174.
