MHK vows to retain Ramsey post office

by isleofman.com 5th December 2014
The vice-chairman of the Isle of Man Post Office says his priority is to retain the crown office in his constituency.
Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer was elected vice-chairman of the organisation a fortnight ago – an appointment some ratepayers criticised coming so soon after plans had been announced to relocate the town's and Douglas’s main post offices into nearby Spar shops.
However, Mr Singer insists there’s a better chance to try and maintain the community hub at its current location by working from the inside.
He says the three-month reprieve, confirmed in the House of Keys this week, will allow all options to be considered.Clip 1
