Horse trams are owned by us!

by isleofman.com 8th December 2014
The horse trams belong to the Borough of Douglas - not the government.
There's been some dispute after the Deparment of Infrastructure claimed it believed the trams would come into government ownership once work is finally carried out to lift the tram tracks and re-lay them either on the promenade walkway or by the seaside of the promenade.
However, Council Leader David Christian says this just isn't the case and hopes the issue won't drag on and cause hold-ups to the work to improve Douglas promenade.Clip 1
