Celtic League defends rights of fire service workers

by isleofman.com 8th December 2014
The Celtic League says the IoM Fire Chief's comments about the leaking of a discussion paper are 'regrettable'.
Kevin Groom was speaking after information was passed to the media about possible reductions in fire service cover.
The Department of Home Affairs later issued a statement saying no cuts were planned and the documents concerned were simply an 'internal discussion paper'.
Mr Groom criticised those who had leaked the paper to the media.
Director of information for the League, Bernard Moffatt, says how the Fire Service and Department of Home Affairs make cuts is their right, but workers should have freedom to speak out.Clip 1
