Householders urged to lock up at Christmas

by isleofman.com 9th December 2014

Police are continuing to investigate a spate of connected household burglaries and warning people to lock up their homes and businesses.

Sergeant Michelle McKillop said: 'We are urging people to make sure they are extra vigilant on the build up to Christmas as crimes like theft and burglary rise. Lock your door when you go out, secure vehicles and don't leave valuable or desirable items on show.'

Police are urging people to report break-ins, even if nothing has been taken, as they could be a critical link in finding the culprits.
