More MHKs come forward with payslips

by isleofman.com 10th December 2014
Two more MHKs have come forward with their payslips to prove they’ve paid into their pensions.

Yesterday in Tynwald, Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer showed his payment into the Tynwald Members Pension Scheme in 2013, and Michael MHK Alf Cannan has also supplied his payslip showing the contribution.

The moves come after all 24 MHKs assured Manx Radio they’d paid into the scheme – but information from the Treasury said only 23 were doing so at the end of last month.

So far, eleven members have provided proof they’ve been paying voluntary contributions into the pot.
