"Freddy the Cornflake" books raise money for Rebecca House

by isleofman.com 10th December 2014
Local man, John de Weert has always been a terrific supporter of both Hospice Isle of Mann and Rebecca House – he cycled across America for them in 2009.

This time he has written a lovely children’s series of books about Freddy the Cornflake. There are 3 volumes all priced at just ?6 each with a ?1 from each sale being donated to the children’s hospice, Rebecca House. The books are on sale now at various outlets around the island including the Bridge Bookshop in Port Erin, Shoprite in Douglas, Chester Street and Ramsey with ?1 pound from each book sale going to the Rebecca House. They are also on sale at Hospice in Elaine’s Coffee shop.
