Sulby woman charged with causing death by dangerous driving

A 63 year old woman from Sulby has been charged with causing death by careless/inconsiderate driving and will appear at Douglas Courthouse this morning, Thursday 11th December 2014. 
 
The incident relates to a fatal collision that occurred on Main Kirk Michael on 4th August 2014, that resulted in the death of cyclist Kathryn Burge.  The woman, who has not been named, will appear before Magistrates in the morning. 

Talking yesterday, Detective Inspector Steve Maddocks said “After extensive enquiries and examination of evidence a 63 year old woman from the Sulby area will appear at court in the morning”.
