Christmas is all about the joy of giving

by isleofman.com 11th December 2014

Christmas is all about the joy of giving which was very evident at Victoria House Nursery this week when local Chartered Financial Planners, Blythe Financial, made a donation of 10 food hampers to the Helping Hands Appeal.  Carolyn Nicholson and her team were on hand to receive the donations from Alan and Sue Blythe and Jan Hobbs, from Blythe Financial as well as Jesse, Cookie and Holly who surprised the children by wearing their special Christmas outfits for the occasion.

“For some years now we have made donations at Christmas time in lieu of sending cards to our clients” Sue Blythe explained, “and after hearing a radio ad on 3fm for the Helping Hands Appeal, we knew that we could help.”  The appeal is to provide hampers for the local older generation who might otherwise have very little this Christmas.
