Manx Radio Top 50 handed to Museum

by isleofman.com 12th December 2014
The Top 50 songs chosen by Manx Radio listeners to celebrate the station's 50th anniversary have been handed over to Manx National Heritage.
A time capsule with the tracks recorded in various formats was delivered to the Manx Museum yesterday by Marc Tyley and Paul Corkish.
It will be reopened in a further 50 years time with interest in how many will still be on air regularly in 2064.
Manx Museum Library and Archive Services Officer Paul Weatherall says the Top 50 will be updated to new formats in future years as technology advances:-
