Appeal after car damaged in Hutchinson Square

Police are seeking information about damage caused to a silver BMW car parked outside of number 16 Hutchinson Square, Douglas. This is toward the top end of Hutchinson Square. The collision is believed to have happened between 11.00pm on Friday 12th and 11.00am on Saturday 13th December 2014. 
 
The BMW received a dent to the driver’s side front wing and bright red paint was transferred from the vehicle which struck it. No details were left by the driver of this vehicle which left the scene.
 
Constable Barklie said:

“Irresponsible action such as this causes inconvenience to others and raises the price of insurance premiums. The police will take firm action against those who knowingly leave the scene of a collision without reporting it.”
