Presentation made to Chief Executive Officer of Panama Canal Authority to mark centenary

On August 15, the centenary of the Panama Canal, the British Embassy of Panama City and Her Majesty?s Ambassador presented Jorge Quijano, the Chief Executive Officer of the Panama Canal Authority with a professionally framed Isle of Man Post Office Panama Canal miniature sheet cover and presentation pack, kindly donated by the Post Office to celebrate the 100th anniversary. Mr Quijano was pleased and honoured to receive the framed set of stamps produced to mark 100 years of this most incredible achievement of civil engineering and the part played by Manxman William Kennish.
