Care firm urges neighbourliness this Christmas

by isleofman.com 18th December 2014
Christmas day is just a week away and many Manx residents are busy planning to host parties and dinners for family and friends.
But there's a call today from an Island care organisation, to spare a thought for neighbours who are on their own.
Home care company Home Instead is calling on the Manx public to be a good neighbour - and include those who might be lonely in the festivities.
It's published a list of suggestions, which range from calling with a Christmas card and helping put up decorations, to taking a neighbour shopping or inviting them round for tea.
