Sandcastle Nursery raise money for Children's Hospice in memory of their friend

by isleofman.com 18th December 2014

Pictured is Aly Moore, Registered Children’s nurse from Rebecca House with the staff, parents and children of Sandcastles Nursery.

The children had walked the walk in memory of a young boy called Jack Cain who had sadly died last summer. He had attended Sandcastles Nursery. There is a bench, also in his memory, in the garden at the nursery. The bench will be used for all of the nursery children to sit on whilst outside at story time.

Sandcastles would like to thank Balloons to Go for kindly donating green and blue balloons for the children on the walk as these were Jack’s favourite colours. In addition the local nursery would like to thank Kirby Garden Centre for their support with the bench and all the children and their families for joining in and donating.

Aly was delighted to receive the amazing amount of ?2,434.95 and thanked everyone involved in supporting Rebecca House.
