by isleofman.com 23rd December 2014

The motorist killed in a collision on the mountain road on Friday morning has been officially named by police.

He was 22 year old Ben Collister from Ballasalla. He died when the Berlingo van he was driving was in a head-on collision with another van at the Mountain Box.

Inquiries are continuing into this collision and into the collision that claimed the life of pedestrian Rob Campbell on Saturday. Rob, a PE teacher from St Ninian's High School, had been on Richmond Hill when he was hit by a coach.
