Cretney writes to Teare on Children's Centre

by isleofman.com 23rd December 2014
South Douglas MHK David Cretney has written to Treasury Minister Eddie Teare about the possible loss of 61 jobs at The Children's Centre.
It follows the awarding of contracts for running residential children's homes and outreach care services to St. Christopher's Fellowship.
The centre has appealed the decision and claims the entire process is tarnished after it emerged a senior civil servant and member of the interview panel was a director of one of the charities shortlisted.
Mr. Cretney says he wants assurances the procurement procedure was carried out correctly:Clip 1
