by isleofman.com 26th December 2014

A flight from Ronaldsway to John Lennon Airport had to return on Boxing Day as the Liverpool airport was forced to close due to snow.

An airport spokesman told the media that they had a heavy deluge but where hoping to reopen for the evening flights to operate. Four other flights have been rerouted to other airports to allow the runways to be cleared.
