Save your stamps this Christmas - and help transform the lives of those with leprosy.
That's the message from the Leprosy Mission as it seeks to help the estimated 3 million people with irreversible disabilities including blindness, as a result of late treatment of the condition.
The saved stamps are sold by the Leprosy Mission to collectors and the money raised goes towards healthcare and education about the disease.
The One World Centre on the Island is organising the collection of the stamps on behalf of the Mission.
Primary schools including Arbory, Ashley Hill, Ballasalla, Ballaugh the Bunscoill in St John's, Cronk y Berry, Marown and Onchan and QE2 High School in Peel will be acting as collection points.
You can hand in stamps at churches in Ballasalla, St Matthew's and Trinity Methodist in Douglas, Waterloo Road Methodist church in Ramsey and the Cathedral in Peel.
Stamps can also be sent direct to the One World Centre at St John's.
They should be neatly cut off the envelope with at least a 5 mm margin each side.
Collections will continue until the end of January 2015.
The World Health Organisation says Leprosy is still endemic in 30 countries around the world and there are around three quarters of a million new cases diagnosed each year.
