by isleofman.com 30th December 2014
The latest in a long line of Island students has been awarded a scholarship to study across the pond next year.
Catherine Breed, 21, from Castletown will spend nine months at the University of Idaho from September 2015.
The Ella Olesen Scholarship is awarded in memory of a former registrar of the university who created the award in honour of her Manx ancestry.
Catherine, who studies history at Cambridge University, says she's excited by the opportunity.
