Course aims to boost Manx food and drink industry

Manx food and drink firms hoping to expand in 2015 are being urged to sign up for a new marketing course starting early in the new year.
A series of workshops will outline to producers, retailers and hospitality sector firms, that good marketing is vital to win and keep customers, beat the competition and boost sales.
The course will run over five weeks from 26 February 2015 and the closing date to apply for limited places is 29 January.
Seventy firms have benefited from course in recent years - learning the secrets of pricing and packaging, social media and websites - evening sending out press releases.
The course will be led by director at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Heather Blackley.
She says advice given on the course is straightforward and practical:
