Police are appealing for information regarding a hit and run RTC.

Between 12 midday and 1.30pm on Sunday 28th December 2014 a blue coloured Peugeot was parked on the Douglas Promenade walkway close to the TT stop cafe. At some point another unknown vehicle has collided with the front of the Peugeot causing damage to the front bumper and damage to the paint work. The driver of the offending vehicle left the area without leaving their details.

Constable Thommeny said, “The Road Traffic Act is explicit about the requirements to report accidents and anyone caught leaving the scene of an accident may face prosecution”.

If anyone saw this occur or has any information please about the collision, please contact PC 250 David Thommeny at Lord Street Police Station on 631212.

You may also contact Isle of Man Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Crimestoppers is an independent Manx charity established to enable callers to pass information regarding criminal activity anonymously.
